System Monitoring
New England Network Group can monitor your business’s servers, network devices and PC's for real time alerting of system failures or emerging problems. Identifying and resolving emerging problems quickly and effectively means lower cost and higher user productivity. Each month we provide our monitored clients with a full report that graphically details system utilization, memory availability, back-up job completion, anti-virus updates and much, much more.
A small piece of software called an "agent" is installed on each Server and PC that is being monitored. The agent retrieves performance metric information from the operating system and passes it to us where it is organized, filtered, and archived. Working with the client we can set appropriate thresholds and when the information gathered by the agent exceeds the threshold a real time alert is generated. This alert can be in the form of a service ticket in our system as well as emails to our support engineers and our clients designated points of contact for issues. The process is highly secure since the client’s data is never accessed by the agent and never leaves the client’s system. The only thing that is queryed and exported is the performance metric data that the system generates and never the actual client data.
NENG provides monitoring and monthly reporting to all it's client’s who have purchased a block and have a signed agreement in place. Additionally client's can contract for real time notification and/or response to alerts. Automated patching and system updates can be contracted for as well, a lower cost alternative to manual patching and updating of servers and PC's.
